Countermine provides a total solution for restoring land where there are known or suspected to be mines or other unexploded ordnance (UXO). As well as the actual demining, we also provide services concerning preparatory and follow-up work in connection with demining, for example surveying, reconnaissance (technical surveys), inspections and restoration of land.

Our aim is to be the first-choice industrial partner for commercial demining, to be the leader in the niche market for development of mechanical demining equipment, and, through our proprietary technology, to become the market-leading commercial demining contractor. We have the personnel and equipment to be able to offer, lead and carry out full-scale demining assignments locally. Where necessary we engage subcontractors to carry out supplementary tasks. Countermine’s primary task within the context of these total solutions is the demining itself.

Our safe and effective ORACLE system is a tried-and-tested technology for mechanical demining that demines and tills the land in one operation. ORACLE disarms mines by destroying most of them before they detonate. The operator is well protected in a reinforced safety cabin and, if the mines do detonate, the impact on the machine is minimal.

The ORACLE system is considered to be among the safest and most effective methods for mechanical demining of flat and open land. In circumstances which require manual demining, we work constantly to improve personal safety. All personnel undergo quality-assured training and are provided with the appropriate equipment.
